Do you know someone between the ages of 7 and 17 with a serious interest in magic?  The Austin Magic Youth is a group sponsored by the Austin chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians to help young people grow in the art of magic.  We have activities appropriate to beginners and advanced magicians alike.  Here are some of the things that we do in our monthly gatherings:

• Show and tell from magic shows and events that members have attended
• Making props and learning new magic
• Open Mic, where members perform for the group and get feedback
• Special performances by guest magicians

Many young magicians explore their art all on their own.  It's so much more fun with a group.  Our members also benefit from their contact and mentoring with experienced magicians. 

Our group meets at 5:30 PM on the first Monday of each month at the same IHOP location as the Ring 60 group.  There are occasional changes so check the calendar to confirm.
